Hi, I'm Amy! It's so nice to meet you...
I’ve been a hairstylist since 2013 and have loved every minute of it. Making people feel good from the inside and out is such a rewarding feeling. Growing up, some of my friends’ moms were hairstylists and I thought it was so cool that they could play with people’s hair for a living. Eventually, I decided that was what I wanted to do, so here I am. I have always loved entrepreneurship as well. As of March 2024, I'm proud to say that I'm also a salon owner to Studio Mae, where I currently have my haircutting studio.
I have always had a huge passion for haircutting, which eventually led me to specialize in it. Specializing in haircutting allows me to focus and truly become an expert in my craft.
I also love to create big transformations. No matter if it’s your first or your hundredth visit with me, you will always get a five star experience, I promise!
My husband, Egli, and I have three kids, named Ada, Eli, and Nora. We love spending time with them and our long haired chihuahua named Lucy. Binge-watching Netflix shows, watching sunsets, and going on walks are some of my favorite things! Another thing I absolutely love is the beach. The waves crashing, the soft sand, nothing about the beach ever disappoints. It truly is the one place that completely relaxes me.
Speaking of happy places, I want to make YOUR happy place coming to get your hair done with me. I will always listen to you, whether you have a question about which products to use in your hair or a concern about if your new haircut will look good with your face shape. I am proud to say that I am a hair-perfectionist. I look at the hair from all angles and make sure that it looks good from all directions. The little details are so important; they are the difference of mediocre hair and outstanding hair.
